LANGTANG TREK

This trekker’s paradise is in proximity to the Tibetan boarder and easily accessible from Kathmandu. Along the trek one would discover different types of culture, many varieties of scenery and forest that are totally untouched. Cultural heritage of Tibetan origin ethnic group Lama and Tamang and their settlements featuring ornately carved wooden windows, lively dance festivals and skilled weaving traditions scattered all along the trek. Passing through the less explored lush forest of oaks and rhododendron to the vantage view point of Kyangin Gompa, trekkers would enjoy its best-kept secret and beauties. After ascending an old moraine, snowy peaks suddenly loom ahead and the gorge opens into a U-shaped glacial valley with majestic mountain of Langtang Lirung (7246m) Gang Chhenpo (6388m) and Dorje Lhakpa (6990m).

HELAMBU

Home to Sherpa and Tamang, Helambu is famous for Buddhist religion and its ancient monasteries. This viewpoint of Mt. Langtang, Gaurishankar and other magnificent high mountains provides knowledge of the cultural diversity of Nepal. Starting with an opportunity to know the tradition of Brahmins and Chhetris to the Tamangs and Lamas in middle part, where as Shepa culture and tradition would be experienced at the later part of the trek. The regions with temperate forests, brilliant displays of rhododendron, primal blooms and autumn’s post–monsoon greenery with snowy peaks give the feeling of heaven. This famous trek for climate, flora & fauna is relatively short and easy but no limitation of excitement that trekkers come across.

Day 03	Kutumsang – Thadepati (B, L, D) Trek from Kutumsang to Thadepati (3580m), 05 hrs. Overnight at the tented camp or Teahouse Lodge – Full board basis
Day 04	Thadepati – Tarkeghyang (B, L, D) Trek from Thadepati to Tarkeghyang (2740m), 07 hrs. Overnight at the tented camp or Teahouse Lodge – Full board basis
Day 05	Tarkeghyang – Sermanthang (B, L, D) Trek from Tarkeghyang to Sermanthang (2590m), 05 hrs. Overnight at the tented camp or Teahouse Lodge – Full board basis
Day 06	Sermanthang – Melamchi Bazaar (B, L, D) Trek from Sermanthang to Melamchi Bazaar (870m), 06 hrs. Overnight at the tented camp or Teahouse Lodge – Full board basis
