BHOTE KOSHI
(Wild and Steep)
Eastern
Nepal’s wild and steep white water adventure lies in the
harmony of Tibet and the Himalayas in the form of Bhote
Koshi. Journey starts from Friendship Bridge in Nepal
China border and takes you through the mountains, past a
vista of traditional Tibetan life. Once you’re on the
river though, there is no time to stop and admire the
scenery, as you and your fellow rafters negotiate some
of the fastest and steepest rapids in Nepal. This true
adventure can be rafted between October – December and
February - April.
Emerald green fields are terraced high above the river
on precipitous slopes, curious villagers lining
suspension bridges are amazed as we plunge through
cascading waves and chutes of foam. Conveniently located
just above the rafting starting point, the Last Resort
is very tastefully sculptured into acres of private
land. The resort has spacious safari tents, showers,
toilet facilities and a well stocked bar. The beautiful
location, thrilling, adrenalin charged white water.
