The trek to North Everest Base Camp starts
from the high plains of Old Tingri after
meeting the trek crew. The trek will take
you up the historic expedition route to
Rongbuk Monastery crossing the Langma
La pass (16,900 ft). Hike up to the
North Everest Base Camp and explore the
Rongbuk glacier, set directly below the
massive north-face of Mount Everest. After
gazing at the worlds highest mountain
scenery from Rongbuk, drive overland through
amazing Himalayas Highway to Kodari and then
to Kathmandu in Nepal.

renovated by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th

Norbulingkha, 18th century
old summer palace of the Dalai Lama and

three major monasteries in Tibet.
