AM:
Breakfast with family, farewell ceremony
and
Drive to Pokhara.
Lunch en-route
On arrival to Phedi, Hike up to Dhampus
to greet Mt. Fishtail(1 hrs.)
Overnight at a lodge (Tea house) – Full

Day 04

Dhampus - Pokhara
AM: After Breakfast, hike around the
village and back to phedi
Drive to Pokhara for leisure
PM: One hour boating in the Fewa Lake

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
The following can be incorporated into any
programme for special interest groups provided
at least four people per group participate.
Rock climbing.
There are some undeveloped rock faces above the
village which will give challenging climbing.
For experienced climbers only, own equipment
required.
Bird watching
The jungle above Sirubari is rich in bird life.
A day or more can be set aside for serious
ornithologists to spend time here. Animal life
is also abundant.
Meditation / Buddhism study tours.
The Gurung villagers around the valley are all
followers of a particular style of Tibetan
Buddhism. Scholars or recent converts alike can
spend time in meditation in the peaceful
atmosphere of the village and its surrounds.
Festivals
When festivals coincide with group tours then
the itinerary will be varied to suit, according
to the guest’s wishes. |
